“I Can and I Will” written to show youth that they can be anything they want to be if they put their mind to it. This book shows youth that they are “powerful even when others tell them that they are powerless. "During Ta-Sean's time working with youth, he found that where youth who are discouraged or have obstacles that could prevent them from achieving their dreams. The causes of this may be due in part to peer pressure, bullying, troubles within their household, and or lack of resources within their community. “I Can and I Will” is meant to serve as a reminder to youth that their dreams and aspirations are within arms reach if they work hard and keep a positive mindset.
